Ministry Highlight

New Leaders in the Church Begins to Surface. First we prayed for potential church leaders, second we look for them, third we trained them, and finally, we have leaders. Confident now that when our church planting team moved out and start to church plant in a new ministry area, there will be leaders helping their pastor in advancing the Kingdom of God at Southville Phase 5 and even to their neighboring communities.

The discipleship material that we used is the “Follow up Series 1-6” of Campus Crusade for Christ. This material has been of great help in teaching the leaders about basic foundation of Christian faith. After they learned the significance of their faith, their commitment began to grow. And now they lead the Sunday worship service in singing, prayer and scripture reading.

Adrian Vergara, Kathleen Dulay and Jenalyn Amaga are the leaders from the youth. The leaders among the mother’s group are Sally Dela Cruz, Lani Enchano, Kate Lawan and Gelita Baccara. Most of the time, the youths help Pastor Zaldy in his priestly duty every Sunday worship and celebration while the mothers help in Bible study and other ministries.
Next Plan
Our team will start another church planting ministry very soon. After the turn-over of the church to the leadership of Pastor Zaldy on December 16, our team will start praying and scouting for a potential community to be our new ministry area. Pastor Joseph Munion, our former church partner, expressed his desire to start another church planting ministry with our team and we plan to visit his target community on January 2018.
Prayer Concerns

1. For God’s financial provision to Pastor Zaldy and his family
2. God’s anointing, wisdom and financial provision for our church planting team
3. Spiritual growth, commitment and financial provision for the new church leaders mentioned earlier
