1Ministry Highlights

Church Christmas Party.
Praise the Lord! We celebrated our first Christmas party by giving gift packs to fifty six (56) families last December 19. Ptr. Junery shared the Word of God during the celebration. Everyone was blessed and encouraged. We had games for adults and young people. It was their first Christmas celebration as a community. After that, we ate together (boodle fight) as one family and one community. Before the program ended, we gave special gifts to those who faithfully attended our Bible studies and worship services. We had raffle gifts for those who attended the party. All in all, there were ninety eight (98) adults, twenty five (25) young people and thirty four (34) children who attended our event. Indeed, a good opportunity for the team to open more home Bible studies.

Children’s Christmas Party and Gift Giving.
We thank the Lord for His provision in our gift giving for one hundred eighty (180) children in our ministry area. We prepared exciting games that they really enjoyed. After the games we gave them food to eat such as “pansit” (noodle), sandwich and juice. The children were very happy receiving their Christmas gifts which consist of “sando” (sleeveless shirt), towels, toys, chocolates and candies. The team’s plan is to follow them up for Sunday school and feeding program at the same time to encourage their parents to have home Bible studies and attend our weekly Sunday worship service.

Temporary Shelter.
We praise the Lord for His provision of temporary shelter for our worship, feeding program, youth gathering and some group Bible studies. The people in the community helped in building the temporary shelter. The team were blessed with the goodness of their hearts. Having a temporary shelter was a big help for us in this rainy season.
