Pastor Moises, Cebu Church Planting team member, in his home visitation

Ministry Highlights

Worship Celebration. Praise the Lord! We are very grateful to the Lord as we see how He moved in the lives of our church members. They’re very excited to attend every Sunday and hear God’s word. They also share their testimonies of God’s goodness and faithfulness in their lives during our worship. Every Sunday we have twenty-five adults and youths regular attendees. After our worship we have snack fellowship, a good time to know each other.

Feeding Program. We regularly conduct our Feeding Program every Saturday at 2pm. This month, we separated the children according to their ages (4-6 years old, 7-9years old and 10-12years old). Thanks be to God for His continuous provision in sustaining this program for the children. For now, we are able to cater one hundred (100) children every Saturday. The team is praying for chairs and tables that we can use during our feeding program and kids tutorials.

Couples Fellowship. Last February 25 after worship, we have eleven couples who attended our Couples Fellowship. Ptr. Junery Berden shared the gospel about marriage, husband and wife relationship, building intimate relationship with God as couples. We also prepared games for them and they all enjoyed their bonding time as couples. We planned to follow up the couples, to build harmonious relationship with them and sooner start home Bible studies.

Bible Study. On the first week of this month, we finished the booklet “The Answer” or “Ang Tubag” and now we started “Tuklasin” as our Bible study guide. We were also able to add three home Bible study groups composed of four to seven (4-7) adults and young people.

House Visitation and Prayer. This month, during our house visitation we met Tatay Rosendo; an eighty-seven year old man living in the community alone in his small nipa hut house. He was very ill, couldn’t stand and walk, but very thankful to the Lord because of the generosity of his neighbor (giving him food to eat). Sometimes when we go to the area, we try to bring rice, coffee and sardines for him. We were able to start Bible sharing with him every Thursday afternoon. We also do prayer ministry during our house visitation. This has been a great opportunity to build good relationship with the community and hopefully start new Bible study groups in their houses.

Youth Bible Study and Fellowship. Praise the Lord! We were able to sustain the youth group/youth Bible study every Saturday. Now, we have fifteen young people who regularly attend. This month, Ptr. Nehemias Buloron started to mobilize the youths; teaching them how to lead a prayer and how to share the gospel to their fellow youths. They were very excited every session and the team challenges them to invite their friends to attend our youth group too.
