CWTP church planters assigned in Cebu with two Executive Committee members

Ministry Highlights

Last July 20-23, 2017 two of our Executive Committee members (Ptr. Winston V. Pinzon, Executive Director and Ptr. Ramon Padilla ) came to visit us,  and evaluated the area for holistic church planting ministry among the poorest of the poor in Brgy. Buhisan, Cebu City. We were glad that our area passed the CWTP requirements. Ptr. Winston Pinzon explained the partnership agreement to the partner church with their 12 church leaders. Both parties agreed to take upon the responsibilities and duties set in the MOA within the two years of partnership in doing holistic church planting. Then, we had short fellowship with them.

On July 23, 2017 we had MOA signing for the partnership with the representatives of Redeemer Church – Ptra. Belinda E. Cepada (sending pastor) and Ptr. Junery N. Berden (full time pastor/worker), and CWTP representatives – Ptr. Winston Pinzon, Ptr. Ely Cotanas, Ptr. Enrique Cubillo and Ptr. Godjell M. Quinones (Cebu Team Leader) during their Worship Service.

We were given opportunities to speak in Redeemer Church worship service. It was a great opportunity for us to share God’s word and the ministry we are doing among the poorest of the poor in the urban areas.

Maaghop Family transferred to Manggahan St., Punta Princesa. This was due to the problems they encountered in their previous house. There has been leaking water from the ceiling, and the location was far from school and market. Now, they are comfortable in their new home which is also near in our area.

Praise the Lord for Julie Anne’s safe and normal delivery of their third son. We thank you for your prayers for Ptr. Godjell’s wife, their baby and entire family.

Prayer Concerns:
1.    The community survey that we will do this first week of August
2.    Our strategic planning with the Redeemer Church
3.    Julie Anne’s fast recovery after giving birth
3.  Our families’ health and financial needs
