CSJDM, Bulacan Team – February 2018

Ministry Highlights

Special Concern. Last February 28, we received news from the President of TINIG association about the scheduled demolition in the community area. The purpose of the demolition is to clear the occupants of all housing units in Phase 4, thus, give way for the housing unit developer to complete their work on all the units. In a month after the work is completed, the developer will turn over the housing units to the National Housing Authority (NHA). After that the NHA will award the units to the qualified housing applicants. Our association, TINIG, will benefit because we follow the application requirements of the NHA. Prayerfully our team will be awarded with two (2) units.

We are in the process of requesting to the City Mayor temporary shelters for our TINIG members because most of them do not have a place to stay once the demolition took place in April. Our TINIG members will peacefully vacate the units after we receive the notice of demolition. Prayerfully after a month the units will be awarded to us legally by the NHA.

Church Prayer Meeting. The team formally started our church prayer meeting every Wednesday, four in the afternoon (4 P.M.). Members of the church cell groups formerly Bible study groups attended the first church prayer meeting. Through the prayer meeting, our team has been able to identify the active attendees and hopefully train them to be involved in the church ministry.

Children Ministry. After almost a year of our feeding program in the ministry area, our team is now focusing on discipling the kids. Sis. Liway is closely monitoring the fifteen (15) kids, conducting Kids’ Bible study every Saturday and Sunday.

Youth Ministry. Last February 24 our team were able to gather thirteen (13) unbeliever young people in the community area, mostly out-of-school youths. We introduced to them the upcoming CWTP evangelistic youth camp and all of them were interested to join the camp. Every Saturday we scheduled meeting the youths to prepare them for the said camp.

Plan/Goal For the next Month

 To prepare our church for the scheduled demolition in the community area

Prayer Concerns

1. For the team in preparation for the demolition in the area
2. Peaceful demolition for there is another association (SIKAP) that might not leave the units
3. Our people in the community area that they may be qualified as recipients of the housing units
