Halang Naic, Cavite Team – December 2017

2Ministry Highlights

Children’s Feeding Program Graduation.
Our Partner, Ptra. Berna, was enrolled at Child Care Ministry Program (CCMP). Through CCMP, twenty five (25) malnourished kids from the ministry area have been fed (Monday to Friday) for five months and learned several Bible story lessons. The graduation of those kids last December 2 was conducted by CCMP and the partner church where the kids received certificates and gifts. The parents, ladies attending Thursdays Bible Study together with those who regularly prepare the food for the feeding program were acknowledged as well.

JIBC-BV Family Day & Christmas Party.
We were blessed to have an extended family in our mission area. Our friend, Uncle John Ridley, shared his blessings during this event. He gave fifty (50) pcs. of toys for kids and forty five (45) gifts for adults. We started the day of celebration last December 10 with Sunday Worship Service and Ptr. Ramon shared the Message of God. We really enjoyed the rest of the day as we held our Christmas party in the afternoon with fun-filled games and gift-giving.

Team’s Pre-Christmas Celebration.
An early Christmas celebration of the team happened last December 12, before Uncle John Ridley left for Peru. He treated our team for a dinner at Balinsasayaw Restaurant in Tagaytay City. We enjoyed the weather, the food, and the meaningful fellowship together. Thank God for this wonderful opportunity to have quality time with our family and friends.

CWTP Christmas Fellowship.
Last December 13, Companion with the Poor (CWTP) community celebrated Christmas in advance beside its office at Quezon City. We felt Christ’s loving presence in the lives of our dear companions who attended the Worship Service conducted in the morning until the fellowship in the afternoon. That day has been a thanksgiving also for the transformed life and achievement of our Bro. Ark Ariaga (CWTP former Scholar, now a licensed Teacher), and for the child dedication of Sis. Maryann Flores’ (CWTP Finance Officer) youngest daughter.

JIBC-BV Youth Christmas Fellowship.
Twenty (20) youths participated in the Christmas event last December 17. Everyone expressed how much grateful we were in the birth of Christ and enjoyed moments of reflection, celebration and supplication (foods shared and gifts exchanged) together.
