Halang Naic, Cavite Team – July 2017

Meeting with Conservative Baptist Assembly of the Phil. (CBAP) pastors and leaders

Ministry Highlights

Attended a meeting with Conservative Baptist Association of the Philippines (CBAP) Director, Daniel Feliciano, Pastor Peter Adriano and Pastor Jhun last July 18 2017. We introduced to them the CWTP Ministry among urban poor.
Pastor Jhun recommended a possible area in Bacoor, Cavite – a community beside an exclusive subdivision with about 50 to 100 families. Their situation is quite difficult because of the lack of access to own roadway. The residents come in and out by passing through the gate of the subdivision. We visited and assessed the area; unfortunately, it didn’t meet the CWTP requirements.

Another possible area is in Kawit, Cavite as per the recommendation of Pastor Peter. We also visited the location with him and his three church workers. The community is in a riverside but cannot be classified as a poor community and has only about 200 to 250 families. We ended up with the same result as the previous area visited.

ransferred a motorcycle donated to CWTP by Mr. Gutierrez from Makati last July 15, 2017. He shared about his almost 10-year old motorcycle named, “Pandanggo”. He bought it prior to his Christian conversion but still in good condition now. He decided not to sell it for he believes it should be given to someone who will take care and make use of it in the ministry – one of our co-missionaries is using “Pandanggo”.

Brought the donated 40 adult chairs, 12 chairs and 4 sacks of toys for kids’ learning and recreation, from Quezon City to our possible area in Naic, Cavite and to a CWTP existing area. The possible partner pastor in Naic is Pastora Bernadette Batiancila. We are grateful to your prayers for her health because she is feeling well now and the Lumbar X-ray resulted that no fracture was found in her spine.

Prayer Concerns:

  1.  God’s leading and guidance for our team – Reggie Garcia (Calamba, Laguna), Ramon Padilla(Das Mariñas, Cavite) and Joyce Dispulo (Naic, Cavite)
  2. Our Health, Family and Schooling of our children (Nathaniel, Daniel, Kate, Gab – Ramon’s children and Jian – Reggie’s daughter)
  3.  Financial needs and travelling mercy too
