Samontanez, Jeff, Ana Cecelia, and family
I’m Jeffrey Samontanez, 38 years old. I am married with 1 son. As the 2nd child of 7 siblings, I was taken care off of by my grandparents during my early ages. After finishing my grade school my grandparent could not afford to send me to high school so my Aunt helped me continue my study. I grew up with hatred towards my parents which affected my performance in my study. After finishing high school I did not pursue college and begun living on my own.
In those years, my aloneness was very hard for me. There were times I was sleeping at the bus station because I didn’t have a place to rest. I had experienced working in a house as a house boy, working in a bakery shop, working in a printing shop, etc. The year 2000 was a big turning point in my life. This is when I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior through M.V Doulos ship who happened to be in Manila port area. As I entered the ship I felt a un-explainable peace in my heart.
I’m a missionary with Companion with the Poor. At present I am leading a team as a Team leader and assigned in a huge relocation site in Northern part of Luzon Bulacan. The area name is Towerville 6. It has over 12,000 families. At present our team has established Bible studies among the adults, children & youth ministry & regular Sunday worship celebration.
