Children: Matthew, Maureem Mae, Jerome, and Aron Josh.
I am the fifth among eight siblings. My father was a soldier while I was growing up and I experienced a lot of hardship, especially in my studies. I graduated high school in 1979 at Camp Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo High School. After graduation I enroll in college at Central Colleges of the Philippines (CCP) but I stopped schooling due to financial difficulties in my family.
At the age of twenty I applied at Mindanao Steel Corporation as a messenger and janitor. As the years went by I was slowly promoted from my position, from janitor to tinsmith fabricator then finished goods and delivery checker. After that I was promoted as Over Head Crane Operator.
In 1985 I heard the Gospel for the first time through Pastor Damaso Bautista from Capitol City Baptist Church (CCBC). I accepted the Lord as my personal Lord and savior on September 5, 1986, and in the same year I was baptized at CCBC.
Presently, I am leading a church planting team in Hugo Perez. Before, I was assigned at Talaba II Bacoor Cavite, and Las Pinas. My life was deeply changed by God after I joined the ministry of CWTP. CWTP showed me that God cares for my family no matter where we live. CWTP is among the few ministries reaching out to the urban poor, with a vision to plant churches in every slum. We target the poorest communities in Metro Manila by planting holistic churches that meet the spiritual and physical needs of the most marginalized in the slums. We accomplish this through partnership with local churches to plant sustainable churches within two years.
