Ministry Highlights

Couples Fellowship. On February 25th, between 2pm to 5pm held at the C6 Ville Association’s multi-purpose were six (6) couples and twenty three (23) ladies joined our event because their husbands still work even during Sundays. Some of them were attending Bible study and officers of the association. Their president brought their videoke to be used for the program. We entitled the fellowship “I heart you “, meaning, “I love you”. We also invited Mr. & Mrs. Lucas Aquino who gave inspirational talk about love in their marriage. Pastor Lucas Aquino was a former church planting partner from Christ Jesus Our Life (CJOL). They really enjoyed games especially with their spouses and even more when they kissed each other in front of many people. We were thankful to the donor of our food afterwards, and to the cooperation and participation of community leaders. Of course, the team was grateful to the Lord for it was our first attempt to gather them all, though we are still strangers to them, but they welcomed and accepted us.

Courtesy visit with the Barangay Captain. Finally, after many appointments we were able meet Hon. Rosanna San Pedro, Barangay Captain of Napindan. It was a privilege to have a fruitful conversation with her. We introduced our ministry and asked her support to our community-based projects. In fact, she will donate food for the medical team and volunteers, chairs, tents and security marshal on May 2018 medical and dental mission. She will also support our clean and green project, Alternative Learning School and Day Care Center. She said, “your team might be the answer to my prayers”, because she needed people like us who are serious in helping the poor.

Evangelism. January of this year, we started intentional evangelism in the community — to the community leaders, parents, youth and children. Currently, we have eight (8) adult Bible study, one (1) youth group and three (3) age groups for children. In the photo, Pastora Hosannah, Bro. McLloyd and Bro. Peter were able to meet the family of Nanay Mercy, her husband and five (5) of their twelve (12) children. Parents and children work in the junk shop and none among their children study in school. Once a week we visit and conduct Bible study with them. They accepted and invited us to their home. We invited their son to attend the CWTP evangelistic youth camp this summer. We also gave multi-vitamins for the father. To have their own lot has been their prayer because they are just care takers of the house where they live. May God bless this family in many ways.
