Taguig Team- November 2017

Purok 5 community in Napindan Taguig City.

 Ministry Highlights

Collating of community survey result. After 3 days of house to house survey our team spent another day to collate the result of community survey. Our Church partners offered their nice office where we to hold our meeting. We are happy for the result and praising the Lord for this accomplishment. Below are some important data of survey:

a. Electricity (Meralco) – source is coming outside Purok 5 of Napindan. According to the HOA leader they have 3 submeters but the cost is also expensive that is why only few people can avail the electric service and many until now doesn’t have electricity.
b. Water (Laguna water) – source is coming also outside Purok 5 of Napindan. It’s expensive and only few residents can avail the connection. There is also water well as other source for laundry but not potable.
c. Most of the residents are not yet registered voters of Taguig but they are already there for 3 years at least.
d. There are 15 different Home Owner Association within Napindan Purok 5.
Asking the Three Questions Survey. The second part of the survey is the “3 hard question” to find those who are ready to reap by asking (1) Do you want to receive Jesus Christ in your life? (2) Do you want to have bible study? (3) Do you want to attend worship service? Those who answered yes are prayed to received Christ as Lord and Savior, given date and time for bible study, and invited to attend worship celebration. Honestly, this is difficult task, but the result was very satisfactory because many wants to have home and group bible study.
During the survey the HOA leader encouraged their members, the most available are mother to just go and meet them at the multi-purpose office to be interviewed and they followed their leader. They don’t want us to walk in the stagnant water and there was no other way to reach them. We felt blessed to see them arriving and willing to talk to us and share their story. Our prayer is that one day there will be no stagnant water that caused to them skin allergy.

Key Objectives Next Month

  • Team strategic planning
  • To talk to other Home Owners Association’s key person.
  • Follow up those who answered YES during the 3 hard questions survey to start the bible study.

Prayer Concerns

  1. Lot for the church building
  2. Leading of the Holy Spirit to the Team
  3. Protection and good health of the Team (healing for Ptr. Onie, safety for Bro. Jojo in riding habal-habal)
