Church planting in Taniman was completed and  team officially turn over the leadership of the church to the local church partner.  Taniman team lead by Pastor Marcelo Bo-ot will look for another community to start another church planting.

Highlights:

Kneeling together in the church is one of the best practices we have in our church planting in Taniman.  During our Sunday Celebration and Turnover Ceremony last August 27, 2017, Pastor Marcelo Bo-ot shared the Word of God and led the communion (see photos below).  We knelt down together as a gesture of worship and prayed the “Lord’s Prayer”.  The worship started at 3:00PM, after worship and celebration we had our dinner together with the church partners, workers and our church planting team.

We are thankful first to God for allowing us to plant a church in this area even though there were trials and misunderstanding, still the love of Christ prevailed.  We have completed our church planting project in Taniman, Brgy. Batasan, Quezon City with church building, leaders and we were able to establish Alternative Learning System (ALS).

One of great things that happened during worship on that day of turnover, 5 ALS students have been given the chance to stand up in front and Pastor Willy Garcia, head Pastor of JCSGO Batasan led them into prayer.

Prayer Concerns
1.  We are looking for a new church planting area
2.  God’s provision for our Team while we’re having rest for the whole month of September
3.  For 8 ALS students to continue and finish their studies and pass their equivalency examination this coming October 2017
