“For he knows where I am going and when He tests me I will come out as pure gold.” Job 23:10

The most awaited day of a college student is their graduation day, and the long wait is over. As I reflected on my college days, I remember our hardships in life—financial difficulties in spite of the help my older sister who supported my studies. I always went to school with faith that someday I can pass all these challenges. There were times that I almost failed in my exam because of pressure and worries. I could not comply with all the requirements needed to be accomplished. I was miserable and decided to stop if this would go on. On the other hand, I really wanted to finish my studies because I knew that education is one of the keys for success in life.

But still, I believed that our God is the great provider and He said to me,“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” My prayer is my weapon that time. Then, my older sister introduced me to a scholarship
program in Companion With The Poor, Inc. and by God’s grace, I became one of their scholars.

I was so blessed by the scholarship and it motivated me to study harder. God is truly amazing! For four years in college the impossible things became possible through the foundation that sponsored me. Requirements, paper works, payments, etc. were all accomplished through their help. It lessened the burden of my parents, and helped them save money for my other siblings who were also studying.

As I was blessed by others, I would also like to be a channel of blessings to others.
